About the Founder
Practical honest expertise.

I'm Jeff Gaynor, the founder of Reactable. I've spent more than 25 years designing, building, and leading real-world software—first as a developer, then as an architect, CTO, and engineering leader.
Across startups and growth-stage companies, I've worked on platforms in healthcare, fintech, ecommerce, and other regulated environments, designing systems on Google Cloud and AWS and guiding teams through the realities of scale, security, and compliance. I've been on both sides of high-stakes decisions: shipping fast under pressure, inheriting complex systems, and evaluating codebases that looked solid on the surface but hid meaningful risk underneath.
Reactable grew out of that experience. Too often, companies, buyers, and investors are forced to make decisions without truly understanding the software they're relying on. Reactable exists to change that—by making the code, architecture, and underlying risks visible, understandable, and decision-ready.
I approach this work as a practitioner, not an auditor. The goal isn't to judge or oversell fixes, but to create clarity. When improvement or mitigation makes sense, I can help guide that work. When it doesn't, the value is still there: confidence in knowing exactly what you're working with.
